An excellent experience from start to finish. Sir Grout was easy to deal with. Chris Wyland, owner, arrived at my home at the appointed time to provide consult and estimate for repairing and cleaning my master bathroom tiles. It's a pretty big bathroom, about 15 sq feet of floor tile, plus a large fully tiled shower enclosure. Water damage meant that many tiles had to be reinstalled. And the entire bathroom tile steam cleaned and "color grouted" as well as caulked in many areas. Chris and I negotiated what I think is a fair price for the work, and best of all, Chris helped me to understand which services would be important to me in my quest for "fresher" looking tiles and grout. I only paid for what I needed. Sir Grouts' workmen showed up on the appointed day right on time, did the job well, and left no mess. Took two men about 6 hours. Lots of equipment. They left me with complete written instructions on how to care for the tiles and grout, a nice touch. At the end of the work, we were missing one last 12 inch tile, so Sir Grouts' workers had to come back a few days later to finish the job, (after I obtained the missing tile from Roma Tile)... which also happened quickly and well.I would say Sir Grout is NOT the lowest price on the block -- they are what I would call reasonably-priced for this kind of work. But their workmanship is excellent, work ETHIC excellent, and Chris really knows how to communicate well, which is a hugely important quality. Lots of people say they know how to do tile, but Sir Grout does it very well. Total A+

Chris and his staff were very professional, arrived exactly on time for all appointments, informed me of exactly what they were going to do to the tiles, and were a pleasure to do business with. My bathroom gleams and looks like a much brighter, cleaner place. I would definitely recommend them.

We hired Sir Grout to clean a heavily stained white grout in our shower and on our bathroom floor. What was once dark and stained became bright white. It really is amazing and looks great. Our shower floor is about 20 square feet of 1" mosaic marble and there are a lot of grout lines. Every line is still shining brightly five weeks later and we enjoy seeing it every morning after years of stains.
We did the grout cleaning and sealing on the marble floor of our downstairs bathroom that gets the most traffic and also has white grout. The old dirty grout became bright white there too. What a nice change!
We also had them put a slip resistant application on the floor of our fiberglass tub in another bathroom which allowed us to toss the gross bath mat we had been using there. It has worked great for adults and little kids. Very nice change and it feels very reassuring.
Chris (the owner) was really professional from start to finish. He even offered to seal our marble vanity tops for free while he was in the bathrooms. Nice touch.
All in all we had a great experience. Chris and the tech that came with him were punctual and professional throughout. We were glad we had the enhancements done to our bathrooms and would use Sir Grout again.

I hired Sir Grout of Greater Boston to do my kitchen and bathroom floors about a month ago. Chris (the owner) was extremely professional throughout the process and it was clear that he would do anything in his power to assure my happiness. I was initially hesitant to proceed because the cost was a little higher than what I anticipated, but after they finished the work and I saw my floors it quickly became a no-brainer. They looked even better than the day they were installed over a decade ago.

A few weeks ago the shower faucet needed replacement and the plumbers had to chop away at a bunch of the tiles, more than even they expected at first. The apartment is old, and the tile work dates probably from the mid-1970's (the apt is from the 1920's). Old tiles can be difficult to match. However, somehow Mr. Chris Wyand found some tiles that - if they were not a perfect match - I cannot tell the difference. As such, they look like a perfect match. I waited in the other room as the work was getting done - and I could tell the team had to really work at it. Evidently they worked to midnight the night before. They worked hard, and got done a little earlier than expected. The work was excellent, and I actually gave them a tip on the job, it came out so well!

When the job was done, my bathrooms had been transformed from moldy and dirty with crumbly grout to a "like new" clean and shiny look. I should have called them sooner. I will not hesitate to call Chris in the future to do additional work at my home and at my rental properties.

Our tile shower had been a problem for a long time. The grout was missing in places, it was a horrible pain to clean, and there was water seeping behind the tiles. Chris and Pat did a great job cleaning it and replacing the grout. This saved us a lot of time and money compared to re-tiling the whole shower. Chris was extremely reliable and careful. He did everything to make sure we were completely satisfied. I highly recommend hiring him to refurbish your tile surfaces.

My husband and I have always been frustrated at the wood floors in our bedroom. They were badly worn, but the wood itself was solid and strong. They are original to the 200 yr old home. Chris from Sir Grout took on the challenge, and the results are amazing! He was able to bring back the luster and beauty that we knew these floors once had. What also amazed me was how easy it was for us. We didn't have to lift a finger, and got to avoid the mess and cost of sanding the floors. We could not be happier, and are going to schedule the living room floors as the next job.
